I’ve often given my praise to the Spider-Man newspaper strip because they didn’t toss the Spider-Marriage out with the trash and often work it well into the story. Of course, the flow of a newspaper strip story, especially in action comics like this or The Phantom leads to pacing that doesn’t work the same if you’re reading it all together instead of every day as intended.

There’s a reviewer on YouTube called the Comic Strip Critic, host of The Punchline. Usually he looks at the more comedic  newspaper strips but as The Avengers was about to hit theaters he chose to look at the storyline with Thor and Loki. It has it’s problems. The strip I mean; the review is quite good. It’s probably the best use of the “take a shot” gag I’ve seen in reviewing.

As a special bonus, meet the Comic Strip Critic, and then in his first review, Baby Blues
