TF Prime kids

It’s time for your nightmare fuel, kids.

First an apology. I was hoping to have a new “Furman Files” done this week, but as you can see that didn’t happen. I’m going to try and work on it for either Saturday or next week, depending on what else happens to my schedule. In it’s place we will see some Transformers…as it scars us for life along with the other 10 Best Animated Movies for (Traumatizing) Kids. Nobody will be surprised to see Watership Down on this list and if you are check out my RU colleague The Hardcore Kid’s review of it but that’s nightmare-inducing enough. Watching it will actually give you nightmares while you daydream. Also on the list are Batman, Cars, and The Incredibles, but those require reading into it more than I did much less what a kid would. (Except maybe the hero deaths in The Incredibles.)

Personally, I think Song Of The South, from what I’ve heard of it, isn’t so much nightmare inducing as it is uncomfortable for certain adults, and Jessica Rabbit certainly invoked puberty for more than one young boy out there. Also featuring one of the scariest villain songs ever in a Disney movie. What, I haven’t spoiled enough? Go read the article!
