Fellow Friday Night Fighter Brian Snell of Slay Monstrobot Of The Deep found an issue of Plastic Man from around the time of Identity Crisis and writer Kyle Baker decided to skewer it. The scene also fits into today’s discussion of superheroes and kids. The scene doesn’t feature Plas, however, but Mary Marvel. It’s definitely worth reading. Apparently other jabs were made but it’s Mary Marvel’s speech about superheroes and kids that I want to focus on for this link. Actually, a lot of real-world celebrities could benefit from hearing Billy’s words as she relays them.
