Yep, I heard that Ted Kord may be coming back as the Blue Beetle. Watch them suck the fun out of him, too. Also…
…I wasn’t kidding about Wally 52.
- The Clutter Reports: With no time to clean or review I popped up one of my old Scanning My Collection articles, looking at the first issue of Justice League Of America I ever owned, the source of at least three Friday Night Fights (and I think having room for one or two more in the future).
- Reviewers Unknown: This time I went to an old (but fairly recent) Clutter review of Toa Nuva Gali from the Bionicle line.
I know that only one comic had a Best Scene nomination but considering how long it’s been since I have new comics to review….
Best Scene of This Week’s Reviews
Scooby-Doo Team-Up #2
I picked up three new comics this week so there are three new chances for a Best Scene nomination. I seemed to have missed both the latest Astro City and The Fox and I’m hoping to change that. The problem is that having an untrustworthy income source like unemployment I’m not ready to resume ordering comics since you never know what’s going to happen, I have big bills to pay, and it’s not like I have huge buck coming in. Hopefully I get finished setting up soon so I can hunt some paying gigs with BW as my resume…or even better my income source. We’ll see what happens.
Anyway, this week I should finally be getting some more convention coverage up with my first in a series of press junket videos. One of the holdups this week was creating a new intro for that which I hope you’ll like considering it’s coming from a rank amateur. It’s also technically animated, but nothing spectacular. I still put a lot of work into it and considering my current skill level I’m pretty happy with how it came out. Since Saturday Night Showcase is focusing on Filmation/Hal Sutherland until the end of February you’ll hopefully see for yourself by Thursday night’s posting.
