Scribblenauts Unmasked: A Crisis Of Imagination #2
DC Comics (April, 2014)
“Imperious Lex” WRITER: Josh Elder ARTISTS: Adam Archer (also cover) & Ben Bates COLORIST: Ian Herring LETTERER: Saida Temofonte EDITOR: Alex Antone
Maxwell and Lilli arrive in Metropolis, where the citizens have turned on Superman. Lex isn’t behind it, but he’s gladly taking advantage of even Lois and Jimmy on his side. Up against some of Superman’s dangerous foes, can he and the Scribblenauts reveal the real danger?
What they got right: Fun, fun, fun! Some of Superman’s biggest foes are here, but the Super-Family gets to make an appearance. Superman uses his head as well as his powers. And Lex gets the power armor because of course he does. I swear that thing sees more appearances now than it did when the “Super Powers Collection” toys debuted it.
What they go… Never mind. I have nothing here.
Recommendation: The only fun source of DC stories right now, and DC heroes that a kid can actually enjoy. Really enjoying the comic, and you should, too.
