I’ve discussed the webcomic Star Power before on this site and the 2013 ConnectiCon Press Junket video featured the creators, writer Michael Terracciano and artist Garth Graham. I also have the first two issues in print, but some of you would rather wait for the trade to come out. With their new Kickstarter for Star Power & The 9th Wormhole, you can get the first storyline (as of this writing the webcomic is on the second story arc) in trade form. I can’t post the video and the second link goes to my review (while the first goes to the webcomic itself) so I will just link to the Kickstarter here and do a brief description in the next paragraph.
For those who haven’t clicked on any of the links, Star Power follows a star watcher in the future who works on a space station library called Sanctuary Six. One night while doing some personal stargazing she is hit with the Star Power and chosen to become a Star Power Sentinel, who must learn what happened to all of the other chosen, protect the station, learn her new powers, and deal with the enemy of the Sentinels. It’s fun for all ages, with some great action. Check the comic out and if you don’t want to order the individual issues from the site’s store support the Kickstarter and maybe get the trade of the first arc. Either way you should see this comic and help out its creators.
