In a previous article link I showed a guy who had to go online to find playable female characters for a DC Hero-based board game. ICv2 reports that DC has apologized for this mistake. That’s nice, but they shouldn’t have made it in the first place and it remind me that Young Justice was canceled not because of rating but because girls were buying the toys as well as the targeted boys. I don’t understand why these companies keep assuming boys don’t want to play with their sisters or the girl next door (in between the “cooties” and “cuties” stages of male/female relationships) or that girls shouldn’t play with something boys like. Hasbro doesn’t complain about the bronies.
