Big Trouble In Little China is one of those movies that shouldn’t be remade. It’s awesome the way it is and I doubt modern movie makers can truly capture what made it work. (And by “work” I mean reach cult status after tanking in the theaters.) Something like it? Maybe. Replicate the movie itself? Unlikely, but you know Hollywood. They’ll try, believing their version will be the better one and will be completely wrong. I wonder what you guys think of the latest news that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is in talks to play Jack Burton in the remake?
