To promote Disney X D’s (I have to put in a space to avoid WordPress from turning it into an emoticon) animated version of Guardians Of The Galaxy Marvel’s YouTube page has a two-part backstory for how Peter Quill became Star Lord. It’s a bit short for requiring two videos but it still gives you an idea about the tone of the upcoming show.

I like that the blaster has other tricks, which will work for a kids show, but still gets to shoot stuff like a normal blaster when needed. I still haven’t seen the movie but the tone fits what I’ve seen of it. Guardians Of The Galaxy hits Disney X D in September.
