A documentary is used to showcase someone’s life or in the days before the internet life in other parts of the world besides your own. It can also be used to make a case for or against a cause. The problem comes with the documentary exaggerates or outright lies in order to prove their “facts”, which people fall for and things go horribly wrong. In this video from Cracked.com, we look at eight documentaries that altered the facts to make their case, or doesn’t really stand up to actual common sense. Like the first one. Oddly, none of Michael Moore’s works make this list.
