Pulp hero The Shadow might be one of the inspirations for Batman. (And both would be the inspiration for Darkwing Duck, but that’s another story.) Now the two will come together for the first time since the Shadow left DC Comics from his new home at Dynamite Entertainment. But don’t expect a team-up, because heroes fighting each other is usually the way to go with today’s comic writers. And you just know Batman’s hatred for guns and the Shadow packing heat is going to come into play at some point.
