You may have heard of the Eisner Award, an award given to comic book and comic strip creators. (I don’t know if they’re starting to include webcomics.) You may have heard of the man it’s named after, Will Eisner. Eisner is a legend in the comics world despite no longer being among us. But unless you’re a die-hard comic fan you may not really know a lot about him. Comics Alliance has posted a video with a short history of the man, and since BW doesn’t just cater to the die-hards, I thought someone out there who might not otherwise think to look for this information should still see it.
As a bonus, let’s check out the mentioned video about his most famous creation, even after being butchered by Frank Miller, the Spirit.
