Isn’t the real question “how does a death ray benefit humanity”?

I don’t regret going through Seduction Of The Innocent because I’ve always to see what Fredric Wertham actually said, and it’s an interesting discussion topic about people who don’t understand comics or storytelling, but I didn’t expect it to eat up so much time. Reviewing fictional novels one chapter at a time is easier to summarize and review than non-fiction and I don’t plan to do it again. However, I’m only taking a week off from the book, and going every two weeks so I can discuss something else. There’s only five chapters left and I’m still not going to make it without a breather.

So this week will be my review of the rebooted Ducktales pilot, a look at the first issue of Titan Comics’ Robotech reboot…and things that aren’t reboots of 80s cartoons. Over at The Clutter Reports I did some more dusting and reorganizing. And the Voltronathon will continue on Saturday Night Showcase with the underappreciated Voltron vehicle team, and the show that it came from. I’m even going to fit in a commentary and…the debut of a brand new article series! It should be a full week, just with more than one topic.

Sounds like a great week ahead. It will be like what Bwspotlight was before the Dr. Wertham book review. In fact, it will be so nice not to hear about Dr. Wertham this week. I’ll start right now by not saying his name from here on out for the rest of the week! Trust me, a week of Duck Tales, Robotech, and Voltron is much more enjoyable!
