Between Jake & Leon and Captain Yuletide I need to conserve.

Sometimes you take any gag you can come up with. But I do have to prepare for this year’s Jake & Leon Christmas tale and I don’t even know what to do. One four-panel strip a week limits things. It’s not like I can fit A Christmas Carol in three weeks. Four tops. Even if I could, I need to save that for this year’s Captain Yuletide and I still have to design this year’s villain. This dental thing really held me up, helped by it being hard to think about Christmas until after Thanksgiving.

Meanwhile over at The Clutter Reports I took a look at Cybertron Brakedown. This should be my last Transformers review for a little while. I don’t want to turn it into a Transformers review site even though they’re the latest collection I’m working on.

My friend Sean picked up the latest issue of Titan’s Robotech so we’ll be looking at that this week, plus something else next week I’ll be reviewing out of protest. I’ll hold off on that reveal until next week. I’m also hoping to resume Art Soundoff since that bone spur seems to have broken down a bit, but on Tuesday I see the dentist and hopefully that won’t be an issue anymore. But the challenge is almost over and I don’t feel like I’ve done my part whatever the rules are and regardless of what I have been able to do. I also didn’t get to do the Recovered I had in mind, but I don’t have to save that for Art Soundoff, do I? I hope everyone in the US had a happy Thanksgiving (and a good day for the rest of you), and now it’s time to get ready for Christmas.
