Of course I’m going to end this happily.

At least I got one comic done. Yes, this year’s Captain Yuletide will show up next year, but hopefully this week. All my attention got taken over by the Comic Re-Integration Project since I needed to clean up the clutter that was making (irony) and afterwards I was really tired. If you want to see my progress:

  • Day 1: I begin the project, got two boxes done.
  • Day 2: I remember my back brace. Got up to the “D”s.
  • Day 3: Got slowed down finding a bunch of comics that weren’t marked for easy locating.
  • Day 4: Turns out my collection was in a bigger mess than I thought as I found comics in letters I already sorted!
  • Day 5: Simple sorting. After the day before, it was a relief.

I have more to do, but it’s going to be a weekly project so I can (hopefully) finish Captain Yuletide and some other projects. Throw in a dental appointment and shopping and I don’t think I’m going to have any comic reviews this week, although I am going to try to review one comic. I found the last issue of The Real Adventures Of Jonny Quest hiding in the day 4 set so I can finish off that series. I also know what my next two Wednesday series reviews are going to be. The first one is another series I have to finish. When I started the site I was in the middle of a few series, including the comic adaptation of Sonic X, which I remember not enjoy much and plan to expel from the collection. First I have to review it. I’ll save the next series for a surprise.

Meanwhile, I plan to have regular articles, including the Trope Shark article I mentioned last week. I’ll be un-stickying the Yule Log until next Christmas because tomorrow starts 2018, which hopefully will be better than 2017. No illness, no hospital stays, all recovered, and with luck finding a job or BW adding some form of income. I just hit 100 subscribers on YouTube and I’ll post a video for that tomorrow. That means the next installment of the Chapter By Chapter review of the Fantastic Voyage novelization will be Tuesday. Hope you all have a happy New Year!
