Matt Groening gave us the cartoon sitcom The Simpsons, the first animated prime time sitcom since The Flintstones originally aired. Then he warped into science fiction with the appropriately named Futurama. So for his third TV series he’s opted to go into the past, or at least a fantasy setting. (What’s next, romantic comedy? Crime drama parody? Finally getting a Radioactive Man TV series? Please?) ScreenCrush has a look at the upcoming Netflix comedy Disenchantment.

Disenchantment looks like it has the potential to be a spectacular cartoon, however, I won’t be able to watch it because it’s only to be on Netflix. I wish that Matt Groening had placed this show on FOX. It’s very likely that will be a comic book version of Disenchantment though.
