Does Link destroy the flute or do his duty?

I love Choose Your Own Adventure books and their various knockoffs. I would love to record a session of gathering a group either in person or online and have them play the books. Yes play, because these were the earliest “game books” where you didn’t just read the book but you made choices that affected the story’s outcome. That’s what makes them so interesting. VicSage of The Retroist looks at the very first book in the series and its origins.

About ShadowWing Tronix

A would be comic writer looking to organize his living space as well as his thoughts. So I have a blog for each goal. :)

So Vermont gave us the first choose your own adventure books! There’s another reason I can add to my list of things I like about Vermont:) As an 80s kid, choose your own adventure books were a major part of my childhood. I can remember getting these at the elementary school book fairs and checking them out of my local library. The Cave of Time sounds like a very interesting one. I’d love to read one of those some time. The Cave of Time clearly appeals to my love of history and time travel (thus, why I’ve been such a huge fan of Doctor Who for decades).

And yes, I think you should record a video of people reading choose your own adventure books, Tronix. I’d be willing to participate in such a media project.
