With what’s intended to be the final film in the Toy Story franchise in theaters, Disney re-released the previous three movies. However, because of the MeToo movement (a movement that like all movements started off doing overdue good by finally calling out the Hollywood “casting couch” only to be ruined by extremists because extremists ruin all that’s good in the world), one gag clip from Toy Story 2 was removed from the new release.
I read in the comments that Dumbo is having the crows removed when it moves to Disney+ because the characters talk like outdated Southern black stereotypes. I never saw the whole thing (I did used to have a storybook) but was I the only kid who didn’t know about those stereotypes and just figured that was how crows talked in the movie?
