Finally the Sentinels near Karbarra but run into an Invid patrol just as they started interrogating Tesla. Though suffering losses the Sentinels are victorious against the Invid patrol and are prepared to move on the planet. The team come up with a strategy to liberate Karbarra, but L-Ron thinks that shouldn’t be their goal. We’ll have to wait to see what he thinks it should be though.
What they got right: That’s a different kind of cliffhanger. The story of Jack and Karen continues to be fun to watch. The battle is well drawn and they even gave one poor bit of target fodder a moment to go out a hero with a name for the audience and everything.
What they got wrong: I’m assuming the Femax warriors would be more interested in Jack’s battle story than Jack himself. It’s an all-female race (don’t ask me how that works) and…let’s just say Karen may not have a reason to be jealous.
Recommendation: A good issue, worth looking into.
Why would Karen not have a reason to be jealous? Is it somehow connected with the theme of the 90s movie Basic Instinct?
