Plus Rise Of Skywalker has so many cuts from what I’ve heard you could make a box set of just this movie.

I keep seeing demands for the “Snyder cut” of Justice League, which is still on my Finally Watched list (and thanks to an HBO/Cinemax sneak preview weekend I may get to watch it) and now it’s the “Abrams/Lucas” cut of Star Wars: Rise Of Skywalker. I haven’t followed this all too much because that movie is also something I haven’t seen yet but I have to wonder what Hollywood is thinking with these properties they clearly don’t understand. Comics have also suffered this, at least at DC and Marvel. Is it really that hard to find creators who enjoy these properties enough to make a good version with going all fanboy on it?

Anyway, over at The Clutter Reports I organized my cassette tapes. I know, not very exciting but the clutter organizing is the main purpose of the site, not the reviews. Of course next week is another Transformer toy review.

This week I’m going to see the dentist and a tooth may or may not be pulled. The tooth broke but ever since the dangly part disconnected I haven’t noticed anything. It still acts like a tooth is there so we’ll see what happens there. I am concerned I’ve been using too many filler videos lately (someone even called me out on using one recently but he was kind of a jerk about it and I choose filler videos whose storytelling examination is a perspective I agree on enough that I don’t have to comment on. If I disagreed strongly then it’s there for context since I like to make sure opposite opinions are properly explored in context and properly illustrate what that opinion is. This is why I don’t write about politics because that’s not allowed anymore.

If I do get the whole week we have chapter two of the Spider-Man novel, more regular comic reviews, a commentary about a rumored new plan by DC to screw up their own company, and maybe another pilot review. I should be able to conclude The Many MANY Intros Of Transformers this week, which means I need something new. I just hope I get to finally decide what to call that series since I’m bouncing a few names around and I need a name so I can create a logo. Anyway, have a good week!

About ShadowWing Tronix

A would be comic writer looking to organize his living space as well as his thoughts. So I have a blog for each goal. :)

Does your car have a cassette player already part of the vehicle, or do you have to bring a boombox into the car for playing the tapes?

With those old homemade comedy tapes from the 80s and 90s, are there any that I’m on there doing comedy?

Finally, what are some of the different music genres that your cassette tapes cover?

And good luck with the tooth situation this week, Tronix.

Cool (on the comedy cassettes). It’s amazing that those homemade comedy skit tapes from the 80s and 90s are still around! Do you have any cassette tapes of the Dr. Demento Show that you recorded off the radio? The Dr. Demento Show played various humorous songs such as Weird Al Yankovic and others.

Dr. Demento was pretty good. Back in middle school, it was Tim who told me about Dr. Demento (and ironically, Tim’s also the one who introduced me to another doctor…..Doctor Who!). If I remember right, Dr. Demento was on the radio on Sunday nights back when we were all attending middle school. KC-101…..that brings back memories! Is that radio station still operating?

I notice no new articles up on your site today. So I’m assuming that means you had your tooth pulled today, Tronix. Well, I hope everything went ok with it, and that you will feel better soon. Take whatever time you need to recuperate.

    • Still operating but the morning show isn’t as good. Some packaged show that barely plays any music.

Yes, radio stations do change over time. For the past 12 years now since 2008, I’ve been listening to XM satellite radio in my car: either the 80s music channel, 90s music channel, reggae channel, old skool hip hop channel, or the R and B channel. That way, I get to hear plenty of a good variety of nice music while driving. I haven’t listened to FM or AM radio since around 2011.
