For those of you new to the Spotlight I attended ConnectiCon from 2009 until 2016 due to financial and health issues. I would love to go back and if you go into the sidebar pulldown you’ll find ConnectiCon videos and articles under “convention reports”. With the death plague quarantine conventions large and small all over the country have been shut down and Connecticut’s little party is among them. (They canceled Riverfest too, which has happened the same weekend for a while now.) I probably wouldn’t have been able to go this year either but now nobody can. Funny considering half the attendees wear masks anyway. 🙂
Actually, maybe they can, and so can you. Like with other conventions the people behind ConnectiCon have decided to bring their convention virtual through Twitch and Discord. (No mention of the YouTube channel, or a schedule.) They’ll also be promoting the charity American Foundation For Suicide Prevention. Here’s a link to the official page for more information.
