I especially agree with the secret identity argument. I don’t like how Tony’s identity was exposed in the comics but at least that one and maybe Captain America had some merit. The other heroes are terrible at keeping a secret identity, and that’s assuming they even try. Killing off villains is also a bad idea, starting at least as far back as Tim Burton’s Batman. Some of these villains could work in future stories and a few even fight multiple heroes. (Rhino for example is both a Hulk and Spider-Man villain if memory serves.) Why do you think the comics rarely kill a villain off?
