Saturday Night Showcase: Interview With Kaiju Suit Maker Shinichi Wakasa

This one is so late tonight I’m still watching the video. However, this has to be fascinating. From last weeks’ Kaiju Masterclass podcasting event (I don’t think the “online convention” name fits–sorry) comes an interview with Shinichi Wakasa (through a translator) by event co-host Steve Ryfle. It goes for two hours (possibly because of all the translating on top of interesting information). Wakasa has worked on kaiju costumes for a number of Godzilla movies among others so if you wonder what goes into making monster costumes for Japanese movies, check this one out.
