Signs are a wonderful thing.

Yep, the July hiatus is over so it’s back to business. I’ll go over what I got done during the time off in a moment but the usual stuff first in case nobody’s interested.

In this week’s Clutter Report I went over some considerations for declutters who collect Transformers in light of all the different lines and merchandise out there right now. For those of you who didn’t keep up with that site during the July break I also redid the cubby hole, did some random small projects, and finally burned through all my emails in both the personal and BW-related boxes, which was one of the things I wanted to get done this month.

In addition you may be noticing something has been added to the links at the top of the page. I’ve added a new section pulling together all my various BW comic and comic-related art postings into one category, “BW’s Comics And Art”. I even created a new logo for it.

So far there are sub-sections for Captain PSA and Captain Yuletide, all collected into one spot. I’m hoping to do more art-ticles like “Reconstruction Zone” and “Re-Covered”, both of which I’ve been wanting to do more with. When I do I’ll add those as well as any other comics I go to make. I’m not sure how many people care, but since this site is about making myself a better storyteller and comic maker, I might as well chronicle the journey, right? Jake & Leon will keep its own archive so I don’t have to relink a bunch of stuff.

I was also able to update all the descriptions in my media library, so hopefully finding an image to reuse will be easier. Sadly my YouTube backlog is still way too long as is some of my other backlogs, and I didn’t get to check more old articles to get rid of dead links or try to find new embeds, should they exist. I did however manage to relink one of my old videos that I haven’t been able to show since the Blip purge. “If It’s Not Borg, Don’t Fix it” is a BW Panelling episode from ConnectiCon 2012 WHOSE NAME I KEEP #$^%#$ TYPING WRONG!!!!!! The topic is science fiction sequels and remakes but the last time I tried to post it to YouTube the rights holders for the “Invasion Of The Body Snatchers” movie franchise through a fit through the spambots so I’ve been reluctant to post it to YouTube since I was removed from Blip just before Maker Studios tore it to shreds. Now thanks to BitChute I get to bring you this fun panel again, though sadly with current embed styles it won’t go full screen, at least on my computer or through Chrome. Still, at least I finally get to show it again. Give it a watch. I’ve also started posting old videos to BitChute as a back-up but there’s a few I won’t bother with for various reasons.

Finally we have this week’s offerings as BW Media Spotlight returns to operation. The last issue of Scooby-Doo Team-Up looms, there’s a few bits of big news I need to get caught up on discussing, like a certain new indie publisher blowing up the internet, and the debut of the twentieth book in the Chapter By Chapter review series. Plus I have some other discussion topics in mind, and if I can get it done by the end of the week since all those other things (even though I didn’t have to go to jury duty, one of the parties was rescheduled and the other I was under the weather and couldn’t attend…still took my birthday off though) kept me from finishing it we’ll have a new installment of Captain PSA to help christen the new comic archive. Whether I do or not, have a good week everyone.
