I’m not even sure it’s happening. I’ve seen a few YouTube videos happy at Bendis leaving DC Comics but when I try to search for an actual news source, even my usual ones, all I see is that some of his titles are ending and he moved his Jinxworld universe over to Dark Horse, not an official leaving announcement. If he’s going, he’s not taking the other writers who had altered or ruined fan-loved DC characters so unless I see a writer who will fix the previous mistakes and make the DC Universe what it’s supposed to be I’m not breaking out the party hats. I’ve been burned too often.
Over at The Clutter Reports this week I did something besides work on a back-up drive. I cleaned up my humidifier.
This week is the beginning of October, and that means a special edition of the Many, Many Intros series topic I’ve been holding onto for the spooky season can begin. Randomly during October, and depending on what I else I have to discuss (I still want to get that thing I missed out on last week in soon) it’s The Many, Many Intros Of Scooby-Doo. We’ll look at the various Scooby-Doo TV show intros (not counting made-for-TV, direct-to-video, or theatrical films) to see how good they are at showing off that particular incarnation of the Scooby Universe and talk a bit about the shows themselves. It should be fun.
Additionally, the last Star Trek comic I have to review in “Yesterday’s” Comic comes this week and I still need to figure out its replacement, and the next Chapter By Chapter review of Tekwar takes place as well. Have a good week, everyone!
