A series of really short stories, starting with Beetle Girl and Doc, who apparently is now a brain in a jar…okay, at her place as the two reminisce about some really short adventures, which they continue to do while she goes out on patrol. Then when she returns home she gets a shock that is revealed in Beetle Girl #30

The adventures include meeting Doc Strange (not him, some other guy), Red Rocket in a time-travel adventure, being rescued by The Heap, who is the monster she got beaten by in our first one of these, and being rescued AGAIN by Crom the Barbarian (may be an original creation because I couldn’t find anything on him besides Lucky Comics for sale), taking on a suicide bomber nut she calls the Monologuer because he rambles more than Batman Beyond‘s Mad Stan with less reason, and a few random panels of her actually winning a fight, which is a first for these Free Comic Book Day comic.

That’s basically all there are, a page or two of different writers and artists going over some adventure she had. She doesn’t look as incompetent as usual but only because they don’t take the time to give us a decent length story. It’s just random events with no cohesion beyond Beetle Girl and Doc’s reminiscing. I’m not sure this is a comic really worth looking into, even if it is free on Drive Thru.
