Last time we saw that something’s happened to Barbara. It’s an older Ian but they returned to England at the end of their TARDIS travels two years after they left. I kind of wonder how they explained to everyone why they went missing for two years? Did they return to teaching? Were their family and friends concerned? We may never know, certainly not from this tale.
This is the first proper chapter of the book, so things should start happening here. Let’s find out. I’m sorry this intro is so short.

Sorry, there isn’t any Studio Ghibli related images in my library as of this post.
Studio Ghibli is one of those Japanese animation studios who are popular in the West beyond the anime fandom. Now you don’t have to travel to Japan to see the studio in action because they’ve created a YouTube channel that gives a tour of their studio. This should give you an idea about how hard and how long (shut up) it takes to create high quality animation like Ghibli.
Because we don’t have enough fear right now.
And so the first Herodude & Enemies storyline begins as we finally get to see Jake and Max’s stories. Thrill to the adventures of the champion of Average City. Hope you at least find it a worthy escape from the current nightmares. The story name will make sense in a few strips. The strip name should be a bit more obvious already. 🙂
No Clutter Report this week. Consider it a holiday break on my part.
Coming up this week starts the comiXology collection on the Friday Scooby reviews, which means two digital collection reviews a week for the time being. I have some good articles planned but given how my plans go we’ll see if they work out. Hope you all had a happy and safe July 4th whether it was Independence Day for you or not and that you have a good week.

BW’s Daily Video: Why Waterworld’s Smokers Lost
Note: There is swearing in this one, plus whatever violence was in the movie and a lot of Tuvok clips. I didn’t see it, but I did see a detailed enough review that I found this funny.
