“Yesterday’s” Comic> Simpsons Super Spectacular #15

I wasn’t happy with the original review so here’s a do over since we’re so close to the end of this series.

Is there a quota on collecting jokes? (I must have done a bunch of them around the time of the original review.)

BW’s Morning Video: Top 5 Free Streaming Sites

This Art Soundoff I want to do needs to be done right and I didn’t have time. It will happen later today. In the meantime I thought you’d like to see this.

Not mentioned is Shout Factory TV, which has a number of shows Shout Factory is also releasing on home video. or live streaming sites like Pluto TV, which also has channels dedicated to Shout Factory, Mystery Science Theater, classic Doctor Who, Ninja Turtles, and other series and genres from TV to web series.

Dragon ShortZ: Vegeta Is A Father

I know, wrong Saiyan and son.

Team Four Star is know for DragonBall Z Abridged, a show that takes the old Dragon Ball Z footage and making more jokes while maintaining the story beats. It’s brought them success, including a few things they don’t have to fight Content ID to post. They have branched out into other Abridged series and other skits, trying to diversify their portfolio a bit. They even got to work on one of the Dragon Ball games and recently produced a licensed dub of the anime movie Hells. It’s a rather interesting success story.

Recently adding to their list comes DragonShortZ, originally produced animations featuring their version of the Dragon Ball cast. That’s why Nappa is alive again in this first short, as Vegeta has to take care of baby Trunks while Bulma is away. Note that there is swearing in this one, but it’s darn funny if you know the series, and especially if you know the Abridged version well enough.

How To Bore Your Audience With Cliches

Will Ferrel is a good actor but the movies he does often follows a formula I just don’t care for. It’s the same dumb idiot trying to live in a world of slightly smarter idiots. It’s like a Daffy Duck cartoon done wrong. You know, the ones where he plays parodies of characters like Buck Rogers or Sherlock Holmes. So I admittedly have not watched Homes And Watson (speaking of Sherlock Holmes parodies) nor do I ever plan to.

However, Henry of The Closer Look did and apparently this comedy wasn’t so much bad as boring. Being boring is worse than being bad because at least bad can be fun for the wrong reasons. In this video he goes over the film and it’s misuse of clichés. There is a scene of someone throwing up so don’t watch this while eating. Also some swearing.
