(Continued from Mega Man #24} The evil doctors put the next phase of their plan into action, sending Copy Robot to capture more of Sonic’s fans for robotization. Mega Man confronts the current Roboticized Masters to help Proto Man and discovers a potential weapon while Sonic confronts the Copy Robot. Using Mecha Sonic, the doctors convince Sonic and Mega Man to attack each other, as we saw in the beginning of Part 1. {continues in Sonic The Hedgehog #248}

What they got right: I don’t usually like heroes fighting heroes, as I mentioned in last night’s video/article link. However, this isn’t the usual misunderstanding nonsense, as both heroes were framed for the other hero. That makes it work for me. Sonic also senses the Genesis Wave’s alterations, as he did the last time, and Silver also sensed it which brought him back in time.

What they got wrong: I know these are new universes thanks to the aforementioned Genesis Wave, but events and characters (in the case of Mega Man, like Bass last issue and events mentioned) shouldn’t have taken place yet or show up yet since they’re from later than the current Mega comics take place, like mentioning space robots or the appearance of Bass.

Recommendation: This crossover has my attention. Will it stay that way or insist on going “super-epic” like so many crossovers? Only time and future issues will tell.
