Nolan’s “Tumbler” Batmobile was a bloody tank. Snyder’s Batmobile is a sports tank, which isn’t as cool as it sounds.
I also want to give special thanks to Jerzy Drozd and Rob Stenzinger of the Lean Into Artcast. If you click on the above comic you go to the behind-the-scenes page. There you will find an embedded episode involving Jerzy going over the basics of Manga Studio 5, and I learned some things that will help speed up the comics in the future. You may not notice it but I do on my end. Thanks, guys!
- The Clutter Reports: Now that we’ve gotten through the first trade of Furman’s Transformers run, I reviewed the collection itself. It’s one of four, not counting Generation Two.
- Reviewers Unknown: If you missed it here yesterday, BW Panelling works to finish off ConnectiCon 2013 with Doug Walker and Lauren Landa showing you that you don’t have to share the internet’s opinions on what movies you like or don’t.
Best Scene Of This Week’s Reviews
Godzilla: Rulers Of Earth #15
This week we’re taking a break from the Friday Night Fights in preparation for the Prize Fight, so I have the opportunity to do a special edition of “Scanning My Collection” I’ve been wanting to do for a while. So before the Saturday comic review gets to the DC/Marvel crossovers, it’s time for…..
The comic that fought my attempts to properly alter the regular SMC logo so I apologize for the eye strain. This is probably the best DC/Marvel team-up story, and I’ll go into why as we go on. Tomorrow we’ll do an early overview, with reviews Tuesday to Friday and a wrap-up in the Saturday comic slot, plus a review of the trade I’m working from on Sunday’s Clutter Reports article. I hope you like Kurt Busiek and George Perez because you’ll be seeing a lot of them this week. So why do I like it, and can I still find a few flaws? The answers come this week!
