Batman, the Dark Knight. Nothing can stop him from his war on crime. As Waverider once learned, that includes death.

“Thunder” round 8
The Battlefield: Detective Comics Annual #4 (DC Comics; 1991) “Succession” chapter 2: “Blood Scent”
The Promoters: Louise Simonson (writer), Tom Grindberg (artist/colorist), and Albert DeGuzman (letterer)
As Waverider watches one of Batman’s potential futures, the Caped Crusader tracks down Talia, who killed Batman to force him into the Lazarus Pit…but got Tim instead, who had assumed the mantle. Batman, seriously injured in his battle with Ra’s (which led to Ra’s using up his last bonus life), gets killed anyway and is lowered into the Lazarus Pit, which gives life at the cost of sanity. But that’s not stopping Batman!
Well, maybe you shouldn’t have killed his ward and tossed his body to the alley like it was garbage. Then again, look how you treat your own son nowadays. But I have to ask this question.
Was that something he added when he went to Ra’s place or was that part of the armor the whole time? Because…actually either way it’s a good thing nothing set that thing off. I mean, look at what’s left of the place!
