At least the rally can claim more worth than “let’s forget what Christmas is because jeans are on sale.
I don’t have a problem with protests. It’s one of the good things about this country of ours, whether I agree with them or not. I do have a problem with riots that lead to destroyed and looted businesses, innocent people hurt, and so much trouble that it may even hurt their cause if not just ruin other people’s days. However, I’ll take it over Black Friday. Those shoppers are just selfish jerks with no respect for anyone…because they want to get a toy on sale. By the way, congratulations to the stores that stayed closed on Thanksgiving (except for grocery stores and convenience stores…they kind of have to stay open for at least part of the day) because you let your employees spend Thanksgiving with their families. They need that moral support for Friday.
Over at The Clutter Reports I finally tried on pants to see if they would fit considering how my body went through this year, including losing too much weight and other physical changes. Next week is Christmas decorating but I still have jeans and shirts to go through. Not much to report on the review front. I’ll get to the Transformers comics I missed in the usual Thursday spot. However, for Art Soundoff this week I’m going to go over the creations of the various Jake & Leon characters. Hope you all enjoy that, or at least find it interesting.
Black Friday is just another example of how the true meaning of Christmas has been lost.
