It’s a BW Christmas Spotlight without going around the internet and finding really cool Christmas displays around the world.  What makes a good Christmas display to me? Throwing a bunch of cool decorations isn’t enough. I’ve seen displays I’ve enjoyed more than some of the biggest setups out there because bigger doesn’t always mean better. They’re more interested in showing how cool their decorations are than actually capturing the spirit or magic of the holiday, but some of the big displays succeed in that, so I’m not judging a display based on how much or how little it costs. And really it all comes down to personal taste. So let’s see what’s out there this year.

I love those big building projection displays. Here’s one from Melbourne, Australia’s town hall.

I question some of the cover choices but this home display in Chaska, Minnesota is a nice mix of projection and timed lights.

Granted this could be seen as flash but no heart, but I have to give this neighborhood in El Paso, Texas for having a multiple house display timed to music.

Short one this year but time is not my friend. Do you know of any good Christmas display videos? Post them in the comments.
