Thanks to a relatively new channel called TBD and their “Kids Click TV” morning cartoon lineup I’ve finally gotten to see Miraculous: The Adventures Of Ladybug and Cat Noir beyond the Free Comic Book Day samplers that just focused on their civilian identities and never showed it was about teen superheroes who protect Paris from a supervillain who preys on angry people and turns them into revenge-seeking supervillains. It’s actually a really good show, so of course Skydance wants to make it into a live-action movie. A kids cartoon turned into a live-action movie by people who odds are have never seen the show. Let’s see how badly they screw this one up! Why not just let the creators make an animated movie?
