I spelled it wrong in the comic title. It should be two “r”s, not two “z”s. But seriously, at this year’s San Diego Comic Con during the DC panel DiDio asks his audience if they were buying the replica comics I didn’t even know about until an article about this exchange (which means DC isn’t promoting them very well) and was happy when they said no because he is only interested in his darkened Marvel-esque DC Universe. I have to agree with this commentary about how DiDio isn’t understanding the problem. I’m not saying he’s a bad writer or publisher, I’m saying he’s wrong for the DC Universe.
Over at The Clutter Reports this week one more quick report on that pile of papers I had to go over. The hard part was all the URLs I had to check to see if I wanted to follow the sites being promoted on the stuff I picked up at conventions or Free Comic Book Day gatherings. Next week I’ll be reviewing a book.
That book will be the one I’m completing tomorrow, Transformers Armada: The Battle Begins. I already have my next book selected. It’s also a first in a series (a theme I hope to break with the book after this) but it’s not something I usually pick up. I’m hoping that goes better than The Black Stallion’s Ghost but that book’s biggest problem was the guy reading it at the time. 🙂 I’m not sure what else is coming because every time I say I want to do a particular thing something else happens to stop me. Look how long it took me to finally watch Avengers: Age Of Ultron despite saying for weeks another Finally Watched was coming. I would like to do an Internet Spotlight on a superhero webcomic but we’ll see how that goes. Hope the week finds you well.
