Ah, the 90s. While there were a few diamonds in the rough…there was a whole lot of rough to scour around. CBR contributor Julian Beauvais did an article about 90s trends that have and haven’t continued to today. However, there are some flaws in that list as Ari Green of Four Color Media Monitor points out. I mostly agree with Ari but he’s part of the “drop the periodical” argument while I’m more in the “stop trade-writing” position.
