BW’s Morning Article Link: Not Jane Bond

There’s been a lot of talk lately about a female 007 vs. a female equivalent to James Bond. Well, Bond producer Barbara Broccoli was responsible for a new movie coming out called The Rhythm Section, about a woman assassin seeking revenge, and promises this isn’t the female James Bond but an action character who is a woman and is doing her own thing. In a recent interview she also goes over why making James Bond but with boobs may actually be a downgrade for women and I agree with her. Make good characters and people will come see them. Have some faith in your creations rather than use a cheap marketing ploy that will end up failing anyway.
