Sorry, but the “global experience” was a fancy podcast, like so many of other virtual conventions. (I think somebody did one in Second Life, where at least you could walk around and actually “see” the people in costumes you were talking to. However, the rest are glorified podcasts.) And it seems like these virtual conventions DC Fandome failed to impress anyone other than a series of interviews, trailers, and clips for stuff coming out. Maybe when the lockdown finally ends (if they ever allow it) we can get back to having real conventions and livestreams of the events but when the interactions are a bunch of emotionless words on screens you might not even be able to see nobody’s really going to care as much as the real thing.
