Stagg Industries is under attack by a monster with the same powers as Metamorpho, which turns out to be Element Girl. Except she’s not the one who wants revenge on Stagg but a recently fired employee. Before he can get control of both elemental heroes the gang and Sapphire manage to get the Orb Of Ra, which can control the two heroes, and stop his plans.
What they got right: As a short Metamorpho story it works well enough.
What they got wrong: On the other hand that’s all it does. Sapphire could have done what the gang did since she seems bright enough. The most they did was realize that the stolen Orb was being used to control Element Girl. Not much really happens outside of Shaggy and Scooby being scared of Java and then Metamorpho.
What I think overall: This comes off more as a Metamorpho primer than a good team-up. It’s serviceable but otherwise unimpressive.
