While the movie studios have no clue how to translate a video game, since unlike books they’ve never grown up with them and they can’t even get books right often enough, television creators, especially the world of animation, have had much better success. I mean, there have been stinkers there as well, but they’re still closer to the source material than pretty much anything ever shown on the big screen.

In the video below, Dan Ibbertson of Slopes Game Room, working with Guru Larry’s YouTube channel, lists five shows based on video games you may not have heard of. And one of them is a foreign game show.

BW’s Morning Video Link: Behind The Beginning Of Batman

Batman Begins is the only movie in Christopher Nolan’s trilogy I really enjoyed. The Dark Knight is okay but it’s not the Joker that I’m interested in, due to Nolan wanting to adapt a comic but not make a comic movie. Then why bother is my question. I haven’t seen The Dark Knight Rises but it doesn’t look very interesting to me, and even fans of the first two bust on this movie. In this edition of You Think You Know Movies, Screen Crush’s trivia video series, we see some of what happened in the making of that movie. Scroll down the page and you’ll see videos for the other two, the Tim Burton version, the animated adaptation of The Dark Knight Returns, and the terrible Superman team-up that ruined that dream for so many fans.

2017 Super Bowl Ad Blitz Playlist

Embed from Getty Images

I didn’t watch this year’s Super Bowl and to be honest I haven’t watched this playlist either. I’ll watch them as soon as I write this. The Super Bowl ads used to be this real cool thing. I did some award postings in the past and if life hadn’t altered my plans I was going to do a crossover video with fellow Reviewers Unknown contributor at the time, Test Zero. The last two year the ads held no special attention when death and disease took center stage, but before then the ads were kind of slipping. The really big videos weren’t present. The fun stories and cute characters weren’t what they used to be.

So how did this year’s ads hold up? Well, thanks to YouTube’s collected Ad Blitz Playlist we can see for ourselves.
